Before

Prior to your treatment follow the suggestions below to maximize benefit and improve the absorption of cavitated fat cells.

  • Avoid the following:
  • Drinking alcohol
  • Food high in fat and salt
  • Drink at least 4-5 quarts the day before and on treatment day.
  • Keep the balanced diet.

What is the treatment like?
The cavitation treatment does not require any special pre-treatment. It starts with circumference measurement of the target body area and continues with circular movements of the applicator over the treatment site. The duration of treatment session normally takes around 20 minutes (40 minutes including RF), depending on the size of the area and the thickness of the fat layer.

What will I feel during the treatment?
Most of the clients consider the treatment quite relaxing and comfortable. There may be, however, a slight discomfort due to the specific noise spreading inside your body, but it poses no harm and disappears as soon as you are not in contact with the applicator.

Does it hurt?
No, it is completely non-invasive and is pain free. The only slight discomfort comes from hearing a high pitched sound in your ears, which is simply the sound of the ultrasound waves resonating in your ears and the ultrasound head can sometimes get a little warm but never unbearably so.

What happens to the released fat?
After disruption of adipose cells, the fat in the form of triglycerides is released into the interstitial fluid between the cells, where they are enzymatically metabolized to glycerol and free fatty acids. Water soluble glycerol is absorbed by the circulatory system and used as the energy source, whereas the insoluble free fatty acids are transported to the liver and processed as fatty acids from food.

The fat is a solid substance, how can it be eliminated through the urine?
Because ultrasonic cavitation causes an emulsification of the fat, converting it into a substance easy to eliminate through the urine and the lymphatic system.

Can these treatments be performed on male and females?
Yes, of course.

Which are the areas where treatment is more effective?
All those areas with localized fat: thighs, abdomen and buttocks are the most appropriate but there is no real limitation as to areas of the body although we cannot treat the female breast.

Is it possible to treat more than one area in one day?
No, unfortunately not as it puts considerable pressure on liver and kidneys to metabolize the fat.

How long does it take?
Most areas of the body can be treated with 6-8 treatments of 20 minutes each. Treatments should be spaced out over a period of 6-8 weeks.

How effective is the treatment and when will I see results?
Immediately! That’s the great thing about ultrasound cavitation, it produces immediate results of losses up to 3 inches after only one session of around 20 minutes. This result obviously depends on how much you have to lose and your body mass/size.
